How the Union County Court Calendar Works
No one calendar gathers every Union County hearing. Each court keeps its own, and some keep none at all. The strongest public option is the Georgia Probate Records hearing calendar. It lists Union Probate settings. It also includes a separate Traffic Calendar mode. Superior Court is part of the Enotah Judicial Circuit. It offers no public daily-settings page at the county or state level. Its dates surface elsewhere instead. They come through authenticated PeachCourt case information, a signed order or notice, or a judicial office calendar.
Magistrate Court publishes its jurisdiction but no searchable hearing calendar. Blairsville Municipal Court posts no official public calendar either. Those gaps make the originating court the only reliable anchor. A shared name or a shared date cannot tell you which calendar governs. Confirm the court before trusting any result. Federal district and bankruptcy dates belong to the case notice or order and the PACER docket. They never belong to a Union County calendar.
Union County Probate Calendar Search
Probate's portal gives Union County a genuine hearing search. Pick Union in the Court field first. Then enter the required hearing date. Narrow further by case name or time if you can. The default mode is Probate Hearings. Switching to Traffic Calendar changes both the events listed and the columns shown. The portal's tool menu keeps its hearing, traffic, and estate record tools clearly apart.
The official hearing search surface displays the exact court, name, date, and time controls. Those sit behind every Union County settings lookup.

That layout matters more than it looks. It keeps an estate-name search from masquerading as a hearing result. The portal tile view shows why: choose Hearings or Traffic Calendar there, not one of the neighboring records tools.

A landing page is only a doorway. It proves a calendar exists. It proves nothing about any particular case having a setting.
| Field | Input | Rule | Result use |

Union County Court Date Lookups
A solid Union County court-date lookup works every channel the court uses. Online results help. But a portal cannot outrank a freshly issued order, the date printed on a citation, or the clerk's own confirmation.
- Read the citation, notice, or case document and identify Superior, Probate, Magistrate, Blairsville Municipal, or federal court.
- For Probate or county traffic, search the hearing calendar. For Superior, review authenticated PeachCourt case information or the latest notice. Federal users should review PACER and the controlling order.
- Confirm the date, time, hearing type, and room. Do not assume that the assigned judge shown on a case will preside at every setting.
- If anything is missing or inconsistent, call the correct clerk: Probate at 706-439-6006, Magistrate at 706-439-6008, or the Superior Clerk at 706-439-6022. Blairsville matters require the municipal clerk or City Hall.
- Check courthouse or courtroom postings on the appearance day and follow counsel's current instructions when represented.
Union County's Probate page says misdemeanor traffic and game/fish arraignments run monthly, though no permanent annual date list is published. Some citations demand an appearance. Others can be paid before arraignment. The citation or court notice controls which path is yours.
Union County Meetings Are Not Hearings
The Union County government calendar tracks civic life, not court cases. Its categories span county meetings and boards. They also cover recreation, elections, assessors, and development. Date filters, keyword filters, printable views, subscriptions, and iCalendar feeds are all there. Any court case number or case-style field is missing. An event held at a public building is not, for that reason alone, a judicial setting.
The county page makes that focus plain. Its emphasis is government and community.

The matching Union County iCalendar page lets readers subscribe to public meetings. It will not subscribe anyone to a criminal, civil, Probate, or traffic docket.

Keep those feeds apart from real court notices. A board reschedule should never be read as a case continuance.
Court Settings: What Each Field Means
Read any Union County setting as a scheduled event, nothing more. It is not the outcome. Probate results name the case and hearing type. Court room and time appear too. Traffic mode instead lists the offender, citation, charge, and fine. It also gives the traffic appointment time. Superior and federal settings pull extra detail from the underlying notice or order.
| Date | The calendar day assigned to the event; confirm against the newest notice. |
|---|---|
| Time | The listed hearing or traffic appointment time, not necessarily the time a matter will conclude. |
| Courtroom | The room shown in the result or official notice; ask the clerk when blank. |
| Judge | The assigned or presiding judicial officer where published; assignments can change. |
| Setting Type | Probate hearing, arraignment, trial, conference, or another scheduled proceeding. |
Case number and citation number are distinct identifiers in Union County's systems. Whichever number the source document shows is the one to give the clerk when confirming a date.
Union County Estate Search Boundaries
The calendar and the estate index share a provider but answer different questions. Union County puts Probate records from 2014 forward online. Older proceedings may still live in docket books. An estate index helps you find the right case before asking about a hearing. It does not prove any future setting exists.
The Georgia Probate Records estate search works through a county selector. It also uses deceased-name fields and a deceased-date control.

Once the estate number or name is in hand, go back to the hearing calendar with the required date. Or simply contact Probate Court. That two-step habit respects the difference between an indexed estate and a scheduled proceeding.
When a Union County Court Date Moves
Dates move. A continuance, reset, reassignment, or cancellation can shift a Union County hearing. That can happen after an earlier notice was saved. The docket entry itself reflects a procedural change and nothing more. It does not mean the case was dismissed. Compare timestamps. Watch for a later notice or order. Ask the clerk or judicial secretary whether a new notice went out. An old saved record of the date is not reliable on its own. Weather and emergency orders can change schedules too, along with legal deadlines. In recent years, orders from Union County and the Enotah Judicial Circuit have suspended or extended deadlines. That happened during closures. Check the county site, Georgia Courts emergency information, and the issuing court itself. Keep in mind that a general closure announcement never supplies the replacement hearing date. Note: A portal entry marked reset needs confirmation from the issuing court. Never treat an earlier date as active without it.
Union County Calendar Terms
A short docket label can carry very different consequences. So read the surrounding entry and order, not one status word alone.
- Setting
- A scheduled appearance or hearing, not a judgment.
- Continuance
- An order or approved change moving a proceeding to another date.
- Reset
- A calendar change that requires checking for the replacement setting.
- Disposition
- An outcome field that may reflect dismissal, judgment, plea, transfer, or another closing event.
- No result
- A search response that may reflect the wrong court, date, spelling, restriction, upload delay, or portal limit.
Traffic Calendar mode can show a fine field. That field is distinct from access fees, court costs, and clerk copy charges, so read each label in its own system context.
Union Superior Daily Calendar Gap
The Enotah Judicial Circuit posts no anonymous daily settings page for Union County Superior Court. The county's Superior Court page lists judicial and courthouse contacts, and Georgia E-Access routes case information to account-based PeachCourt. Do not substitute the Probate calendar for a Superior civil or felony setting.
Best confirmation: use the newest case notice or order, then contact the Superior Clerk or assigned judicial office when the setting is absent or appears stale.
For an authenticated lookup, see the Union County docket search explanation, which separates PeachCourt from Probate and municipal channels.
Missed Settings and What Comes Next
Act fast after a missed Union County setting. Call the issuing court with the exact case or citation number, and ask whether an order, warrant, new date, or payment restriction appears. A represented party should contact counsel. Paying online does not cure a required appearance. And do not go to a different clerk's office just because it is nearby.
Missed a setting? A missed appearance can have serious case-specific consequences, including a warrant or other court action.
Call the issuing clerk immediately, obtain the current docket status and instructions, and seek licensed legal advice when consequences are unclear.
Each court controls its own response. Probate traffic, Blairsville Municipal, Superior, Magistrate, and federal courts all handle missed settings separately. The right court can explain the public status and the next administrative step, but only a judge can grant relief that requires a judicial order.
